Wyandanch Beach is one of the Village of Southampton’s ocean beaches without lifeguards. It sits between Little Plains Road and Old Town Road, the latter only about a sixth of a mile east, so Old Town is the natural second stop.

Bring shade, water and a sense of how far you are from help. For a staffed beach with showers, Cooper’s is the one.

There are no restrooms or bins, so pack a trash bag. Parking and permits are on Hamptons Beach Pass. The whole Village shoreline is on the Southampton page.
