Little Albert’s Landing is the quiet sibling of Big Albert’s Landing. It has bay access, a picnic area with tables and grills, and nature trails. Swimming is prohibited because no lifeguard is on duty, and the park is open from sunrise to sunset.

People come to walk the shoreline, set out lunch and watch the light move across Napeague Bay. If anyone in the group wants to swim, make the short hop to the guarded beach next door and come back here to eat. The nearest restrooms are at Big Albert’s, and there is no concession, so bring water.

Groups can reserve the picnic area through Parks and Recreation at 631-324-2417. Parking needs a Town permit, a drive-on pass covers designated sand areas, and dogs must be under control, with summer limits from 10am to 6pm. Hamptons Beach Pass has the access rules. For the same mood on a longer stretch of sand, the quiet-beaches guide lists the others, and the Amagansett page maps the rest of the hamlet’s shoreline.
