Lashley Beach is the Village of Westhampton Beach’s second guarded beach, listed as Lashley Beach, Jetty 4. It has lifeguards, restrooms and a shower, which is enough for a swim day but not a lunch day: there is no concession stand like the one at Rogers Beach.
The jetty in the name matters. Jetties shape the beach and the water around them, and rip currents commonly form near groins and jetties. If you swim at Lashley, stay well inside the guarded area and well away from the rocks. The rip current guide explains how to spot the signs.
Lifeguards worked weekends from May 23 to June 28 in 2026, then daily from June 29 to September 7, and the hours are posted at the beach. Parking stickers are required from May 1 through October 1. Details are on Hamptons Beach Pass.
